How our Doctor of Fitness Fit Kids Training Programs Can Help Your Child Stay in Great Shape While Teaching Him or Her the Benefits of Exercise!

Exercise is an important life component for any child. Although sports are a great form of activity, they don’t offer the specific benefits a customized exercise program will for your children. A customized exercise program has many benefits as described below:Fit_Kids_1

#1 – Regular strength training boosts bone density, decreasing the risk of fractures.

#2 – Exercise improves blood flow to the brain – improving memory, concentration, and performance in school.

#3 – Exercise reduces body fat, boosts metabolism, and decreases the risk of obesity.

#4 – Exercise helps kids feel better and have more energy.

The All-Access Fitness Academy and Doctor of Fitness are proud to offer our Fit Kids Program, designed for children 7-10 years old. This 7 week program runs one or two per week depending on your child's schedule.

During our Fit Kids Program experienced trainers will put your child through workouts designed to get them into shape as well as teach them about different areas of strength and endurance training. 

Here is a brief description and video of what our Fit Kids Program will offer your child:

  • Introduction to weight and resistance training exercises to promote improved core strength, coordination, balance, and endurance.
  • Obstacle courses, race, and special challenges to promote competition, motivation to exercise, and fun!
  • Drills and games teaching sprinting, cutting, and moving technique around the field/court/ice, and to help improve overall agility for sports or play activities.

PLUS, parents who are not members are invited to workout during our Fit Kids Classes for only $5!  Here is what one of our parents says about the program:

This program was designed by the Doctor of Fitness, Lee A. Mancini, MD, CSCS*D, CSN, a certified Sports Medicine physician, certified strength and conditioning specialist with distinction.

We will be running a FREE "Try it Out" session for children interested in our Fit Kids Class on  Thursday, April 19th @ 4PM

Next session starts April 23rd and runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00pm through June 10th.
