Starting a new exercise program or changing up a current program can be challenging to do on your own. But if you have ever worked with personal trainers at other fitness facilities, you know the level of education and exercise programming they offer can be limited and/or convoluted in respect to your fitness needs.
We have heard horror stories where personal trainers at other facilities tried to make our clients do exercises that were completely inappropriate and practically impossible for them to do, leading to both injury and frustration!
That is why we only hire trainers that have their Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification. Why is this important? Because trainers with their CSCS have an advanced knowledge of appropriate exercise progressions and how to implement those programs with their clients to maximize fitness benefit while reducing risk for injury and client frustration.
Furthermore, all of our trainers are instructed to write and provide programs that are based on our members physical presentation at the time of their first fitness assessment. Finally, all of our individual and group personal training programs for members are reviewed by Dr. Lee Mancini, a local Sports Medicine Physician and owner of the Doctor of Fitness, LLC.
