What every Baseball/Softball Player Needs and Why You Could End Up on The Bench Without it.
More kids, adolescents, and young adults play baseball or softball competitively today than ever before. For those of you who dream of playing at the highest levels in either sport, that means there is plenty of competition for you. It also means you need to commit to practice and conditioning more than ever if you are going to standout and live your dreams. So what are you doing to physically prepare yourself for the upcoming season now?
In order to play baseball/softball and compete at a high level, you need to be able to throw fast and far, move quickly in all directions to get to balls on defense, run fast to get around the bases, have explosive power to steal bases, have strength and coordination to hit the ball, and endurance to play at your best for an entire game.
For some, these attributes come naturally, but for others it takes more commitment to practice and conditioning. You need to be involved with a conditioning program that effectively increased your speed, explosive power, agility, coordination, strength, and endurance.
